Hello and welcome to my web site.
My name is Jay Inglee.
I am a licensed psychotherapist in the state of California and have worked with children, teens, adults and families from all walks of life since 1998.
Prior to entering private practice, I worked for ten years in a county mental health clinic where my experiences ranged from treating children with social, educational and emotional difficulties to entire families and teens facing their own unique challenges.
In my private practice, I provide in depth and personalized service including, individual adult psychotherapy, family, couples and child play therapy, in addition to clinical hypnotherapy for stress and pain management, motivation and improved personal performance.
These sessions take place in a private, well equipped professional setting with your comfort, confidentiality and personal needs in mind.
The formal training and mentoring which complement my work have been in Psychodynamic Psychotherapies including; Object Relations and Self Psychology, as well as Family Systems and Structural Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, Play and Sand Tray Therapy.
Additionally, I am certified in Medical/Analytical Hypnotherapy through, and former Vice President of, the American Psychotherapy and Medical Hypnosis Association, am a Certified Personal Trainer through the Athletic Certification Training Commission and member of the National Academy of Sports Nutrition.
Combining my experience and formal training in food preparation, sports nutrition, personal training and Clinical Hypnotherapy with my primary role as a psychotherapist, I am eager to provide therapeutic services that enhance your total lifestyle and well being.
